Polyaziridine

Polyfunctional aziridine adalah molekul multifungsi yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan sifat fisik dan kimia pada sistem coating, tinta, dan adhesive, baik berbasis air maupun non-air.

Pengaruh Konsentrasi Polyaziridine terhadap Tack, Adhesi, dan Kohesi

  • Meningkatkan ketahanan terhadap air dan bahan kimia.

  • Meningkatkan ketahanan mekanik terhadap gesekan, goresan, abrasi, keausan, black heel mark, dan fingernail mark.

  • Meningkatkan kekuatan kohesif lapisan.

  • Efektif sebagai tack modifier untuk mengatur tingkat kelengketan.

Aplikasi dapat dilakukan pada suhu ruang maupun melalui proses heat curing, baik untuk sistem berbasis air (aqueous) maupun berbasis pelarut (solventborne). Produk ini fleksibel dan dapat menyesuaikan dengan berbagai kondisi dispersi yang tersedia, serta mempertimbangkan pot life, kemudahan penanganan (handling), dan metode penambahan (addition) dalam formulasi.

  • Crosslinker ini ditambahkan ke produk formulasi tepat sebelum digunakan. Sistem ini merupakan sistem dua komponen (2K system), bukan sistem satu komponen (1K system).

  • Tingkat penggunaan umumnya berkisar antara 1% hingga 3% terhadap formulasi akhir. Jumlah optimal untuk mencapai hasil yang diinginkan sebaiknya ditentukan melalui pengujian (eksperimen).

  • Produk harus ditambahkan secara perlahan dengan pengadukan yang baik (good agitation), baik dalam bentuk murni maupun yang telah dipre-mix ke dalam larutan. Jika dilarutkan, disarankan menggunakan pelarut tanpa hidrogen aktif. Air dapat digunakan, asalkan produk yang telah diencerkan segera diaplikasikan ke dalam sistem.

  • Setelah penambahan, sistem umumnya memiliki pot life sekitar 12–24 jam hingga 4–8 jam, tergantung jenis sistem, suhu, dan pH. Pengujian pot life untuk setiap formulasi sangat disarankan guna memperoleh sifat akhir yang optimal.
